The legacy of Frank frazetta
Frank Frazetta is considered to be one of the most renowned illustrators of the 20th century, primarily for his science fiction and fantasy art that appeared across a variety of mediums including comic books, paperback book covers, paintings, posters, and LP record album covers. His work inspired thousands of artists throughout the world until his passing in 2010. Even today, his influence is as outsized and lasting as his talent and imagination.
Oscar-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro (The Shape of Water, Pan's Labyrinth), described Frazetta as nothing less than, "an Olympian artist that defined fantasy art for the 20th century."
According to Academy Award Nominated Writer (Apocalypse Now) and Director John Milius (Conan The Barbarian) agreed, "I would compare Frazetta to Maxfield Parrish or Frederic Remington. These are the kinds of artists whose work goes forward!"

"Frazetta is to fantasy what Max Ernest is to surrealism (which is fantasy on another psychic and perceptual plane)", noted Steven Heller, multiple Award-winning graphic designer/art director/author.
